Cue The Howls Of Outrage

Before I get started, have a peek over at Norma's blog, where she writes about a dilemma in her neighbourhood.

Now then, onto today's shenanigans. Have your torches and pitchforks handy.

Well, after my last blog marking the summer, you know I just had to go in the opposite direction, right?

I keep telling myself these words: Soon. Very soon.

Throttle me at your convenience.

  1. You worry me, partner!

    If there is such a thing as reincarnation, you must have once been a polar bear. Or an Emperor penguin.

    I get the shivers just looking at this....

  2. Fall is my favorite season. Don't skip it.

  3. Forget it. I was thinking about moving from the desert but now maybe I've changed my mind. LOL

  4. I love the winter !
    Living in Tucson our two months of winter is very much appreciated.

    All the photo were wonderful especially the last one.

    cheers, parsnip

  5. Poor doggie. Doing his best to fetch.

    Sinter's okay to visit but I wouldn't want to live there!

  6. I am right there with you! Ready for snow!

  7. Some of your photos are beautiful as long as you don't have to go out in that weather and shovel your driveway!

  8. Ack!! This makes me want to run screaming :) No, no snow for me please!! Wait, I live in Montana...urg.

  9. Haha, actually this was a more welcome sight than you can imagine - it turned HOT here! (Yes, it was actually hot in London - pigs will fly next:)

  10. @Norma: I might have been a polar bear.

    @Kelly: I'm sure I can come up with something!

    @Eve: snow's good for you!

    @Parsnip: thank you!

    @Jane and Chris: it's coming soon!

  11. @Cheryl: that dog won't find the ball til spring...

    @M.R: bring it on!

    @Deb: admittedly, shovelling isn't fun.

    @Meradeth: so you're used to it!

    @LondonLulu: hot in London? Impossible!

  12. Ummmmmm, I think it is time to make up my packing list for Florida.

  13. Thanks for the wonderful snow pics! I feel better already, even though it's 80 dang degrees here and it's only 9:30 in the morning...

  14. Snow would be good. The sun in Florida has been scorching.

    Hugs and chocolate,

  15. I have a love/hate relationship with snow. It's pretty and fun to play in. I also don't want to be stuck in my apartment with no electricity.

  16. It is indeed - on your blog at least. Mind you these are lovely enjoyable photos. That is while I'm sitting in a T-Shirt feeling warm and enjoying the late summer.
    Have a great weekend.

  17. Laughing out loud at the "Go fetch" comic.
    I don't mind the pictures of snow. Something to look forward to, although many people will complain about it. Not me. I love the snow.

  18. @Jack: pack quickly. Winter's coming early this year.

    @Lynn: Eighty degrees is a travesty!

    @Shelly: I can just imagine three feet of snow at the Disney resort.

    @Auden: admittedly, power outages are no fun.

    @Angelika: the snow will come soon enough!

    @Christine: Snow is wonderful, after all!
