My brother was born on labor day (yes, no U), and the day will forever be associated with him for me :) And now, yep, off to work!
My dad's from early September, but I can't remember one of his birthdays falling on a Labour Day. It might well be that the date can only fall in the first seven days of the month, and he's the eighth.

I miss summer. It was too short thanks to the chilly weather.
We never really had a heat wave here this year.
Except in this time and place, children have been back to school anywhere from two to three weeks. Loved the blog though.
In Canada, they're in school until late June, and always back after Labour Day.
