When I was a kid, I made a decision not to be superstitious. (Precocious, I was.) For my entire life, Friday the 13th has been a good day every time it rolls around. I always look forward to it.
I got two allergy shots and a flu shot this Friday the 13th--no problems, even with the full moon. Of course, I wasn't willing to say that until after midnight.
When you think of all the other superstitions and legends people believe - religious and otherwise, Friday the 13th is rather a minor one on the path of ignorance! :)
Comments and opinions always welcome. If you're a spammer, your messages aren't going to last long here, even if they do make it past the spam filters. Keep it up with the spam, and I'll send Dick Cheney after you.
You defaced a Minion!

Awww...loved that cute cat trying to console the black cat. Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhy are black cats supposed to be bad luck? I've heard they have a harder time getting adopted because of this myth. Crazy!
