Before I get things started, some links to see to first of all. Norma wrote an update on the state of her brain. Parsnip had a Square Dog Friday. Krisztina had Hallowe'en treat ideas here, here, and here. Lorelei featured werewolves and vampires on her blog. And the Whisk had an icky Hallowe'en toon at her page.
Now then, since it is Hallowe'en today, I traditionally go with a whole mess of tricks and treats in images. Enjoy!
Oh My Goodness.... I am dieing here !
ReplyDeleteWhat a hysterical post.
Love the Scotty and the little Hedgehog is just to adorable.
cheers, parsnip
Happy Halloween! I can't decide which one I like best.
ReplyDeleteJehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate Christmas or birthdays, either. Dad used to say Jeff became one because he was too cheap to buy gifts.
The Jehovah's Witness one is an absolute classic!!
ReplyDeleteJane x
The doggy ghost story one is too funny. ;)
ReplyDeleteFunny stuff. I especially like the tortoises eating the imposter.
ReplyDeleteLoved the hamster vampire! He's definitely better than Edward Cullen!
ReplyDeleteHilarious post. Love the Grumpy Cat pumpkins.
ReplyDelete@Parsnip: I had fun putting this one together!
ReplyDelete@Norma: they're a most peculiar sect.
@Jane and Chris: I saw it and had to use it.
@Kelly: it felt just right!
@Lynn: they know better!
@Cheryl: and he doesn't sparkle.
@Auden: thanks!
Happy Halloween! The last frowny cat carved pumpkin looks more real than the one that probably took a little more time to carve. Awesome. I bet it'll look 100 times better when it starts to rot. :D
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! The one with Linus is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGood one! I really liked the carving of Grumpy Cat saying "You need help."
ReplyDeleteWe've had so many cute kids on our block tonight, all please and thank you and sweetness. And we're already out of candy!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the lateness, but I cracked up on a number of these! Great stuff, William!
ReplyDelete@Diane: the squirrels would get to them before they have a chance to rot!
ReplyDelete@Meradeth: with a name like Linus, you just know he'd believe in weird stuff.
@Mari: and it's true!
@Petrea: I'm never home on Hallowe'en nights, so I have no idea if anyone turns up at the house.
@Lorelei: thank you!
I posed as a hairdreser who really wants to just write novels on Halloween.
