Can We Just Murder The Old Year?

It's New Year's Eve, and with 2016 about to finally make an exit (what a despicable year this has been), I'm saying good riddance to it with an image blog.

  1. Fabulous Fun ! I want to be the Corgi's date.
    Wishing you a wonderful New Year. I know you will have one because all the crazed liberal actors who said they were leaving and moving to Canada if Trump won, well they are still here. Lucky you !

    Enjoy your beautiful Canada and all the snow.
    Happy Happy New Year !

    cheers, parsnip

  2. I'm with the bulldog. I'll be asleep at midnight. Tomorrow I'll put up my new wall calendar featuring pictures of wild ducks.

    Happy New Year, William.

  5. Oh man, the one about the gym is so true. I try to avoid the place for the next couple of weeks until it goes back to normal (meaning, generally empty :).

  8. @Parsnip: the corgi is a cutie!

    @Lynn: I was going to go out, but by late afternoon had a splitting headache. I stayed in with a couple of classical concert DVDs and spent the evening reading.

    @Eve: thank you!

    @Norma: I got a kick out of yours... I was glad I was able to comment.

    @Meradeth: the gyms are going to be very busy!

    @Mark: I am glad to see the last of that year.

    @Cheryl: hah!

  10. Ak! I couldn't sleep on New Years Eve. I had no intentions of staying up. And when I thought I could finally sleep, some ya-ho began lighting fireworks somewhere out there. He was 11 min. late by the way.
    But I slept good last night after taking my valarian tea.
    Happy New Year, William!

  11. Grumpy Cat had me laughing! Btw, I saw lots of people at the gym this morning; more than usual. We'll see how long that lasts.
