Awww, First Rate Nutbar, I Know It Hurts, Having Your Whole Country Turn On You

And so it's happened. After months of struggle back and forth between rebels and troops loyal to Gadhafi (Qadhafi, Quadaffi, however the hell you want to spell it)... the tide has turned. The Colonel has gone to ground, Tripoli has come into the hands of the rebels, and the so called Arab spring has come to Libya. With a bit of an assist from NATO, the dictator's taken a big fall. His family's fled, and he's playing a game of Where's Waldo.

It's not over, of course. The First Rate Nutbar (I've trademarked that, by the way) has yet to be caught, and there are still loyalist forces in the field waiting to fight (unless something's changed since the news last night). And so the situation continues to unfold. The future of Libya remains up in the air. And oh, this series of image blogs seems to be becoming an ongoing series....

I've said it before. This would have all been a lot easier years ago, of course, if someone had just sent in the most ruthless hired gun in the world to take out Moammar....
