Beannacht Lá Fhéile Pádraig!

That's Happy St. Patrick's Day, in Gaelic.

First, off, there's this song, often heard this time of year, but very well done by Sean McCann of the band Great Big Sea. If you ever get a chance, go see them in concert.

And second, there's this song, by the band Ennis that I've always loved. Both songs are entirely appropriate today.

Now that I've got the nice stuff out of the way, the rest of the blog is going to get me into a lot of trouble with Father O'Malley, Sister Molly, Bono, Liam Neeson, Sinn Fein, the IRA....

I'm so dead for this one...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

  1. Wait...I have to stop laughing....

You'd better forget about ever going to Ireland. You'd never get out alive. It would be the first time the Catholics and the Protestants joined forces....
