The Thanksgiving Supper Coma

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in the United States, an annual holiday of getting together with family, eating way too much, watching too much football, and if all that wasn't bad enough to begin with, it's inexplicably connected with Christmas. Followed promptly by the Mad Max Thunderdome style riot that is otherwise called Black Friday.

We Canadians sensibly had our Thanksgiving a month ago when it was the height of harvest, and we don't make that much of a fuss about it. Just saying.

Anyway, for the occasion, I have an image blog. Enjoy!

  1. Some really good ones here. I just don't get Black Friday and the shopping craziness. I don't get pumpkin pie either, but I'm Australian.

  3. This year SWMBO has varied the usual feast. We're having barbecued pork ribs! Usually we have stuffed pork tenderloin. The chef doesn't like turkey and, after all, she is called She Who Must Be Obeyed.
