Some links before I get started today. Norma's readjusted her blog a bit (and has changed the url), and so for some reason those of you who have been following her aren't getting the updated feed. Click here for her home page, where she's got a couple of new posts this week, and add that link into your blogrolls. Yesterday having had been a Friday, Parsnip had a Square Dog Friday post. Cheryl had some crime blotter items from her part of the world. And the Whisk had a Friday Question.
Now then, today I have a mix of images for your amusement. Enjoy!
I didn't know Rocket cheated at poker...though now that I think about it, it does make sense....
ReplyDeleteWe once had an attack goose. Better than an attack dog!
Love the little wombat!
Total nerd moment. Whenever I see a raccoon, I think of Rocket.
ReplyDeleteKing Kong vs Godzilla the early years, perfect !
ReplyDeleteBut the Wombat is just way too adorable.
cheers, parsnip
Hmm, I hate the snow (sorry, William) but I don't think I'd like alligators either.
ReplyDeleteNot easy to pick a favorite this time. I love all the animal ones. And that one from the London Underground is a hoot
ReplyDeleteVery funny stuff. Did you see that "authorities" shot and killed the largest bear ever found in Florida? Here in Central Florida we have the largest concentration of black bears in the state. But what were those other kind of long scaly critters, one of which was climbing a fence? I don't think I've seen any of those in Florida! :) The ghost sighting sign was the best!
ReplyDeleteI got in about half of these, but they were funny. So THAT'S how the war was won? What are those? Klingons? Or werewolves? Either way...
ReplyDeleteFunny stuff for my Sunday morning, thanks, William!
Yes, we do have the gators, but it's so worth the sunshine! :D
ReplyDeleteConnery? Ford? Posh. They are nothing compared to the power of geese and raccoons.
ReplyDelete@Norma: Rocket cheating at poker might explain a lot.
ReplyDelete@Auden: you're not the only one.
@Parsnip: such a cutie!
@Kelly: I'm sure they're pleasant company provided it hasn't been a month since their last meal.
@Petrea: I got a laugh out of that one!
@Lowell: kind of hard for an incorporeal Hamlet's Father to carry around change, after all, right?
@Lorelei: Oh, those are Klingons!
@Diane: ah, but you also get hordes of tourists!
@Lynn: I'm putting money on Ford and Connery against the geese and raccoons.
Very funny. Especially the alligator climbing the fence.
