The Patented Phelps Death Glare

The Olympics are wrapping up this weekend, so I thought I'd have fun marking the occasion with an image blog. Enjoy!

  1. LOL, Synchronized Napping, finally a sport I could possibly win a gold medal in.

  2. Love Molly and the bacon sandwich.
    Sportsmanship much better than a dumb special snowflake American swimmer.

  6. @Anita: I could do that!

    @Parsnip: very much so. Mr. Lochte should get dropped into a maze that he can't wander out of.

    @Cheryl: that might be too generous for the turtles. They'd need five days.

    @Carolann: thanks!

    @Diane: oh, yes. I didn't even bring up Hope Solo, who must be thinking "what was I thinking?"

  7. I haven't watched the Olympics. It's almost more fun to hear other peoples' impressions.

    So...sportswomanship? Sportspersonship? This might be the year.

  8. Bolt was totally toying with that guy in the 200m race. It was crazy. I really enjoyed the Olympics this year. It was very entertaining.

  9. Could one cheat in synchronized napping? I think not!
    Heard that Canada paid their Olympic debt in like 2006. I wonder how long it will take Rio?

  10. I could have more gold than Phelps if synchronized napping or the Galapagos 100 yard dash really were Olympic sports!

  11. Phelps looks really scary. And Locthe must be an attention whore with a terrible personality disorder. What a disgrace!

  12. @Mari: thanks!

    @Petrea: it would fit.

    @Kelly: Bolt went out in style. De Grasse is the next big one.

    @Lorelei: ah, yes, the Montreal games. It did take awhile.

    @Norma: especially the napping.

    @Shelly: it was quite a face he made.
