Christmas Eve is upon us. A red clad elf who works one day a year and uses witchcraft to make reindeer pull him around the entire planet is busy. Lots of carolling and decorating is happening. Christmas music is everywhere. The Grinch is out and about.

Oh gracious! Where do you find these? It's a nervous Christmas for people in Hawaii. We went from 150 infections on December 13th to 1,828 infections today. I have friends whose kids and family all got COVID and are quarantined. It's coming closer now. My nephew said he went to the nightclub where there was a huge cluster and was in the news. He got himself tested twice before coming to see us. And he stayed outside the house. It's spooky.

DeleteI was less of a grinch this year since I had my brother visit from Ottawa, first time in nearly 2 years.
