Tomorrow is the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere. And so in these dying hours of the greatest season of the year (though in these parts we can see significant snow well into April), I have an image blog for you. Enjoy!
I'll admit I can't wait for spring, and the weather is even sort of cooperating here in MT. But, I have been informed that I may be the only one with this sentiment :)
It is a wonderful 87 degrees here and the creosote bushes with their deep green leaves are loaded with beautiful little yellow flowers--that make me sneeze. I don't. They are beautiful.
Comments and opinions always welcome. If you're a spammer, your messages aren't going to last long here, even if they do make it past the spam filters. Keep it up with the spam, and I'll send Dick Cheney after you.
Made me smile !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Had me laughing out loud! Some really good stuff here. I used to live in Minneapolis, so that one really hit home.
ReplyDeleteI'll take hay fever over snow any day!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm always in favor of some good laughs!
Loved the sniffer with the yellow mustache! We've had the stuff down here for a while, but the weather's so gorgeous, wd don't care!

ReplyDelete@Lowell: spring can do odd things in northern climates!
@Norma: but snow is wonderful!
@Cheryl: fortunately I don't get problems.
@Meradeth: it's cool here!

ReplyDeleteI have allergies all year round, so the season doesn't matter much. I do love spring though.
ReplyDeleteI wish it could go straight from Winter to Summer.

Actually, I woke up with hives and itchy eyes and a headache. Fun!
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't know it was spring given the snow storm we're supposed to receive! Bracing myself for it and hope it's not too horrible! xo
