I can think of a certain idiot ex-brother-in-law who could do the world a favour and take a flying leap off a cliff. It's that once in every four years day today- Leap Year. As such, I'm marking the day with an image blog. Enjoy!
Norma, my aunt's birthday is 2/29, so although she is realistically way older than I am, she can essentially claim that she is younger than me due to only having a birthday every 4 years.

Fun post! Gave me a chuckle reading this today!
ReplyDeleteHow do people born on February 29th celebrate their birthdays? Having a birthday every four years would be nice as one gets older!
ReplyDeleteI like the leaping animals. Leap year is something I just never think about. Maybe I would if I was born on Feb. 29. Nah.
ReplyDeleteJust another day. That is all.
ReplyDeleteLurve the little sweet baboo asking about extra treats !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
@Nas: thanks!
ReplyDelete@Norma: I guess they have to choose February 28th or March 1st as a default!
@Lowell: it's an odd day. You'd think they'd add the extra day when it's warm.
@Kelly: that it is... no Leap Years presents, no Leap Years cards... though I'm sure Hallmark would like to change that.
@Parsnip: isn't it cute?

Happy Leap Day!
ReplyDeleteI have definitely felt the pain of an extra working day...and longer wait for pay day :)
ReplyDeleteTotally enjoyed. I knew I had read that old decree somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI knew someone would have done a blog post on this. Good one, William!
ReplyDeleteLove all the leaping around and moaning about an extra day to work!
